Hamburg, April 13, 2023: Hamburg-based game developer InnoGames is undertaking a comprehensive strategic organizational realignment to secure its position as a competitive leader in the gaming industry in a changing market landscape. The transformation will help the company reach more players with innovative game concepts and make its work on its current games more efficient.
In cooperation with Gamecity Hamburg and Hamburg-based institutions of higher education, InnoGames has already given away 100 Hamburg Games Conference tickets to students majoring in games. Following the motto "first come - first serve", students of all disciplines can now secure one of another 100 tickets.
On the 1st weekend in February, 93 jammers developed a total of 20 new video games in just 48 hours. Thanks to the lively participation, the event hosted by InnoGames was one of the biggest German Global Game Jams of the year.
After the jam is before the jam: Only about two months have passed since the 13th InnoGames Game Jam, but Germany's second-largest game developer is once again inviting aspiring and professional programmers, graphic artists, game and sound designers to a joint time-lapse game development event. On the 1st weekend in February, the time has come.
In July 2022, InnoGames GmbH became the first German games company to voluntarily publish its salary bands. Within just two months, Germany's leading developer of mobile and browser games filled all 19 vacancies open at the time of publication.
The second weekend of November saw 113 budding and professional programmers, graphic artists, game and sound designers put in a 48-hour powerhouse creative performance, creating 25 new video games from scratch at the 13th InnoGames Game Jam (IGJAM).
